Braintree Town will play Ryman League premier division side Carshalton Athletic in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Carshalton beat East Thurrock United 3-2 in their second qualifying round replay at Colston Avenue.
Iron will now travel to play Carshalton on October 9.
Braintree manager Rod Stringer said: “Carshalton are a good side who are chasing promotion to our league.
“The lad Harrison up front is obviously a handful and they like to get the ball forward quickly.
“It’ll be a tough test for us.”
