Braintree (262 for nine) beat Sudbury II (147) by 113 runs in Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division three.
They made it four straight victories to maintain the pressure on Dunmow and Lakenheath at the top of division three.
They put in a great all-round team performance to beat Sudbury by a convincing 115 runs.
A pulsating 101 off only 105 balls by Rory Ainsley helped take Braintree to 262.
And some great fielding display helped skittle Sudbury out for just 147 in the 34th over, to give Braintree the maximum 20 points.
With Dunmow losing to Bury, only ten points now separate the top three teams in the division.
