Town rooted to bottom

Witham Town are rooted to the bottom of the division one north table after losing their basement battle at fellow strugglers Hillingdon Borough.
Nick Love’s goal was not enough to prevent Town from slipping to a 2-1 defeat – their seventh of the season – at the Middlesex Stadium.
It was Hillingdon’s first win of the campaign.
Witham will be hoping to bounce back tomorrow night when they entertain Potters Bar Town.
