BEN Wyatt feels organisation will be key to Braintree Town's success when they step back into the Vanarama National League this season.

The 22-year-old former Norwich City trainee was a part of the Iron's promotion-winning squad in the National League South last year and has played in their pre-season games as they prepare for a move back into the top flight of non-league football.

It is set to be a big jump for the club, but not one into the unknown after they spent six seasons there before being relegated at the end of the 2016/17 campaign and Wyatt knows they will have to be ready as part-time Braintree face a division packed with full-time teams.

He said: “When we’re up against full-time teams in this league we know we have to be organised.

“We’ll only be in a couple of nights a week (for training) so we have to make use of the time we’re together so we know each other’s games.

“Being organised is going to be the big thing this year.

“We will have to be structured and keep ourselves fit so it’s going to be a lot more work on that side of things.

“It will be difficult but that’s definitely where we want to go.

“We want to be professionals and we want to compete with them."
