BRAINTREE Tennis Club's 14s C team were unable to make home advantage count as they hosted Earls Colne.
The Braintree team of Adam Gilchrist, Jude Gray, Matthew Stephenson and Alfie Jopson played brilliantly with plenty of good sportsmanship.
However, despite the home players' best efforts, it was the visitors who took the points with a convincing win overall.
