GRANGE Farm and Dunmow Runners' ladies excelled at the Halstead Marathon.
The event was also an Essex County Championship race and Grange Farm's Karen Pickering first back for the club in three hours 43 minutes 33 seconds.
Pickering, Laetitia Corbett, who ran a person best of 3.50.02, and Hayley Smith who ran 4.02.24, won the ladies' team prize, with Pickering, Smith and Hayley Morley (4.39.30) taking the County Championship team bronze.
Pickering was the County Championship silver F35 category winner while Smith took the bronze F50 award.
Fastest for Grange Farm was James Bosher, finishing in 2.56.57, ahead of Ashwin Shah (3.33.27), Alan Fullerton (3.42.50), Ian Lawson (3.47.06), Colin Jackson (3.50.51) and John Smith (3.55.21).
The club will be holding an eight-mile trail race from the Stag in Little Easton on June 10 and a 10km road race from Felsted on July 8.
