Leading the way was Julian Collop, who was on peg 17 - an end peg on the day - and he caught throughout the match to weigh a total of 139-0-0.

The club`s Friday Sweep at Notley saw John Daniels record his third consecutive win using the pellet.
This time he had six F1s, a tench and a small carp for a 9-0-0 total.

On Sunday, the Kelvedon club play hosts to Braintree for a joint pairs match at Seabrooks.

At Colemans, Maldon angler Pemb Wrighting (Guru) won through to the final of the Golden Reel competition.
