Josh Sowman and Innes Fullerton were the first two runners home at the inaugural Great Dunmow Parkrun event.
THE first Great Dunmow Parkrun attracted 261 participants, including nine from Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners.
The club's Josh Sowman led the way to finish in the five-kilometre event in 18 minutes 15 seconds, with Innes Fullerton second in 19m 5s and Craig Mitchell third in 21m.
For Grange Farm, Ian Lawson finished 15th in 22m 46s followed by Colin Jackson (23m 18s), David Kelsey (24m 7s), Lee Prowse (24m 23s) and Robert Burgess (29m 40s).
Julia Fermor (32m 52s) was the fastest Grange Farm woman, ahead of Glenda Jackson (32m 54s) and Henrietta Butcher (36m 17s).
