The winners from round five of the Essex seniors' Winter League receive their prizes from captain Ernst Midl.
GRAHAM Newman was the winner as the Essex Golf and Country Club's seniors played round five of their Winter League competition.
With a trolley ban in place and everybody having to carry bags rather than pull them round the course, a total of 22 seniors competed for round five honours.
No-one could match Newman, though, as he took victory with 34 points, while Bob Rayner was second on 33.
No nearest the pin prize was awarded, though as none of the 22 managed to get on to the 14th green in one shot.
