BRAINTREE Bullets BMX Club riders had some great individual performances at round four of the East Anglian Regional Championships to further extend their lead in the competition's points standings.

The first class win for the Bullets came from Heath Thomas in the sevens.

The young Bullet only dropped one lap all day on his way to the overall, while Olly Cates battled away to fourth in the class.

Following up with another class win for the Bullets was Joseph Long as he went unbeaten through the day to take maximum points in the tens.

Long rode a great lap in the final as he came from behind for the win.

Cameron Parrish took the top step of the podium in the 12s.

He went unbeaten all day as club-mate Joseph Harris gave chase to a solid second place.

Ewan Thomson battled mid-pack, finishing fourth with Freia Challis in sixth and Josh Cates in eighth.

Parrish, Harris and Cates also rode in the cruiser class too, with Parish coming out on top with a clear win.

In the 13-14 girls, Molly Nice had an unbeaten run on her way to the class win with Grace Bryceland, Roxy Hinton and Abbey Pattle all finishing in the top five.

Continuing the winning theme in the girls' classes was Lana Redgewell in the Ladies Cruisers.

Redgewell took no prisoners on her way to the win as she showed the class a clean pair of wheels from the gate.

Teresa Challis also made the podium in the class with a third spot and Isabel Potter was sixth.

The penultimate class win for the Bullets came in the Combined Cruiser class for Hayden Challis.

He was firing on all cylinders in every lap and went unbeaten all day, but Matt Goodwins gave chase in second and Chris Potter rounded out the podium in third.

Andy Heighes also put on a good show to make the final, finishing fifth and Harry Collins rode his way to sixth.

Bringing the curtain down was the over-17s Payback class, with six Bullets among the fastest racers from across East Anglia.

Off the gate, a trio of Bullets led the pack, with Josh Butson, Taylor Andrews and Josh Wallis pulling clear.

Racing was tight and into the penultimate berm, Andrews went for a move but couldn’t capitalise as he slid out.

Butson and Wallis battled to the line with Butson just taking the win from Wallis.

Seb Pantlin had a great lap to finish fifth, Shane Redgewell just missed the carnage on his way to sixth, Mat Goodwins took seventh and Andrews remounted to finish eighth.
