THE finalists for the Braintree Open Darts League's Mixed Pairs Knockout were sorted at the qualifying competition at Cressing.

A total of 22 teams were vying to take centre stage on finals night in the best of 3 x 601 leg games.

After the preliminaries and the opening rounds, the Swiss Bell pair of Bex Farmer and Barry Lynn had played their way into the semi-finals as had their opponents from Cressing A, Jade Hampton and Tony Bamsey.

With a leg each, it came down to the decider and with a win in the final game saw Farmer and Lynn book their place in the final.

The second semi-final had Braintree Football Club's Lynn Kelly and Matt Baker up against the Swiss Bell's Deb Web and Rob Watson.

With one leg apiece, the outcome was down to the decider again, with Kelly and Baker securing the victory and a place in the final.
