A TRIO of Braintree Basketball Club members stepped up on to the regional stage to help Essex claim East of England glory.
Caitlin Whittaker, Sophie Eastall-Burdon and Sophie Phillips were selected to represent two Essex County For Basketball teams at the East of England regional tournament.
Phillips was part of the Essex first team who ended up winning the East of England title, while Whittaker and Eastall-Burdon played for the Essex County second team who came fifth overall.
