DOUBLE acts from the Swiss Bell, Cressing and Braintree Football Club will contest for the Pairs Knockout Cup at the Braintree Open Darts League's finals night.
A total of 35 men's and nine ladies' teams competed for their chance to play at finals night on June 30.
In the ladies' competition it was the Football Club pair of Lynn Kelly and Dawn Kennedy who go through to the final after their semi-final win over the Swiss Bell's Anne Farmer and Deb Web.
Joining them will be the Swiss Bell's Bex Farmer and Jackie Brighton following their semi-final win over Cressing's Tracie Hayden and Lauren Smith.
The men's semi-finals saw some superb darts from Cressing's Mick Cain and John Abbott, but they couldn't match the darts thrown by the Swiss pairing of Tony Holland and Barry Lynn, who booked their place with a 3-0 win.
A closer contest in the second semi-final saw both teams winning two legs and it went down to a decider where Cressing's Sam and Peter Hayden hit the all important double to defeat the Retreat's Tom Roberts and Steve O'Neil.
