BRAINTREE Lawn Tennis Club’s red eight and under team saw success in their latest Halstead and District League match against Earls Colne.
Braintree's team of Archie Chipperfield, Jasper Goddard, Dylan Parker and Thomas Williams showed the improvements they have made in their games with a team win against an Earls Colne side who put up a good effort throughout and had a few players making their debut in the league.
The Braintree Red team will next be in action after the Easter holidays with a home fixture against Chelmsford-based Marconi.
There was also a great result for the Braintree Green team.
Matthew Stephenson, Adam Gilchrist, Jules Hardy and Razvan Bulancea were hosted by Great Baddow.
All played well in very windy conditions with Braintree securing a 5-1 away win.
