RAYNE Boxing Club's Hannah Mortier has set her sights on gold in Europe's biggest all-girl boxing tournament in Sweden this weekend.
The prestigious Golden Girl Box Cup attracts boxers competing from as far a field as Canada and Mortier, who is a highly-rated boxer from Rayne, has been through intense training for the last eight weeks.
She will be competing in the Junior under-54kg category and the committed youngster has been training throughout the festive holiday, including a five-mile run on Christmas Day.
The three-day knock-out tournament will see Mortier test her abilities and fitness against the finest junior boxers in Europe.
