Braintree Town's young guns were spot on as they made progress in the FA Youth Cup.
The Iron Academy's young team beat Needham Market on penalties in their FA Youth Cup second qualifying round at the Ironmongery Direct Stadium.
The game had ended with Braintree and their Ryman League premier division visitors locked together at 0-0 and there was still nothing to separate them after extra-time as it ended 1-1, but the Iron made sure of their progress by taking victory in a penalty shootout.
Braintree's Academy side is trying to build on their exploits of last season when they enjoyed their longest run in the competition by making it into the third qualifying round.
