COGGESHALL Town will head into Friday’s Thurlow Nunn League derby against Braintree Town Reserves still sitting top of the division one table despite losing their last two games.

The latest setback for Coggeshall came in their trip to second-placed Framlingham on Saturday when they lost 2-1 to see their lead at the top cut to just three points.

It was a second defeat on the bounce for Town following their 3-0 loss against Haverhill Borough in their previous game.

Coggeshall will be looking to get themselves back to winning ways when they host Braintree Town Reserves at West Street on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm) ahead of a trip to Stansted in the Essex Senior Cup on Tuesday.
