Barnard nets a leveller for the Iron against Eastleigh
LEE Barnard came up trumps with an equalising goal as Braintree Town drew 1-1 at home to Eastleigh tonight.
Ian Gayle’s unfortunate own goal put the Hampshire side ahead, after 55 minutes of the Vanarama National League contest.
However, Barnard levelled soon after to ensure a share of the spoils for Jamie Day’s men.
It was Braintree’s second draw of the season, following their goal-less stalemate at North Ferriby United on Saturday.
