Witham Town’s pre-season action is set to get under way with two games in the next few days.
Adam Flint’s side are due to continue their preparations for the Ryman League division north season with a trip to Clapton tonight and a game at Earls Colne on Saturday.
Meanwhile, as Witham wait for the Ryman League fixtures to be released tomorrow they already know who they will be facing in the opening rounds of next season’s FA Cup and FA Trophy. Either Eton Manor or FC Clacton will be heading to the Village Glass Stadium in the FA Cup’s preliminary round on August 20.
The FA Trophy preliminary round, on October 8, will see Witham hosting Aveley.
