BRAINTREE Tennis Club's under-14 boys' A team continued their positive start to the summer season with a home win against Wickham Bishops.
William Parker, David Hooks, Harry Briffa and Matthew Austin acquitted themselves well against a competitive Wickham Bishops team.
The Braintree boys won all their singles matches and only lost one doubles on a tight tie-break in the third set of 12-10.
Meanwhile, the Braintree under-14s B team of Harry Phillips, Ethan, Sutherland, Jack Davidson and Charlie Roe played Thaxted.
There were some very close matches, several going to tie-break, but Thaxted won the fixture.
