Clear victory for Melinda and Elizabeth at Braintree Golf Club
The third instalment of the ladies’ Winter League took place at Braintree Golf Club with Melinda Atkinson and Elizabeth Maynard taking top spot with 20 points for the nine holes played.
They finished two points clear of three pairings.
After a countback, Sue Scott and Judith Owens finished second ahead of Toni Brockwell and Janet White in third and Shirley Jiggins with Geraldine Stuckey in fourth.
