Former Great Britain Olympic bronze medalist and Braintree and Dunmow hockey star Chloe Rogers was delighted to secure her maiden win on the professional golfing circuit.
The 30-year-old, who claimed hockey bronze for Team GB at the London 2012 Games, made the switch to professional golf after retiring from top level hockey and is now based in Wales at Celtic Manor, where she is the assistant professional.
She completed her first win on the Women’s Professional Golf Association circuit with a one-shot victory at the fifth round of the WPGA One Day Series at Chestfield Golf Club.
Rogers had a three over par 74 to finish one shot clear of second-placed Katie Rule.
