Braintree bobsleigh ace Aleasha Kiddle showed she has lost none of her pace as she returned to athletics action with a gold medal at the Essex AAA Championships in Chelmsford.
After a winter of competing for Great Britain on the FIBT Bobsleigh World Cup circuit across North American and Europe, the 22-year-old (pictured below) raced in the senior 100 metres at the Essex Championships at Melbourne Park.
With the senior event combined with the under-20s, Kiddle flew to first place to take the gold medal in a 12.31 second time that was just a few hundredths of a second off her personal best.
Her victory also means she has qualified for the Inter-Counties later this summer where she will represent Essex.
