There were 11 students from Yong Gi Do Karate Club celebrating as they achieved their first Gup red belts.
Yong Gi Do practice Tang Soo Do Korean Karate and red belt is the highest coloured belt before black.
The belts were presented after students completed a fitness test followed by a gruelling three hours of basics, forms, self-defence, fighting and breaking.
Instructor Neil Bridgwater said: “We had so many candidates at our March grading ,we could not fit these students in. Having their own grading allowed them to really show off their skills on this step towards black belt.”
