Quartets from Cressing Social Club and Notley Sports will face each other in the final of Braintree Open Darts League’s Fours Knockout Cup.
The first semi-final saw the Cressing A team of Rhys Hayden, Sam Hayden, Tony Bamsey and Shane Smith against Cressing B’s Richard Pryke, Tracie Hayden, Matt Franklin and Andy Holland and with a 2-0 victory, the A team had their final spot booked.
The second semi had the Football Club’s Lynn Kelly, Andy Slade, Nicky Mynard and Rob Camp playing Notley Sports’ Stewart Thorogood, Graham Chinnery, Ted Ulmer and Lee Bentley.
Although the Football Club had their chances in a close match, it wasn’t to be their night, with Notley winning 2-1.
