Witham town have announced three new signings ahead of tomorrow's Ryman League premier division home game against VCD Athletic.

One of them will be instantly recognisable to Witham fans - Luke Olley.

The central defender was at the Village Glass Stadium last season and played a part in their promotion from division one north, while the other two are well-known in local non-league football.

Chris Bryan has joined after spending time at division one north side Heybidge Swifts.

The centre forward or winger will bring added experience to the side in attack and can play a number of positions.

And even more experience will come with the signing of central midfielder Lewis Dark from Grays Athletic.

Assistant manager Brad King said: "We are pleased Luke has returned as he gives us more experience at the back and we have so many games to play.

"Chris and Lewis both are players I have admired when playing against them and when I knew there was a chance to sign them both we didn't hesitate.

"The main thing is that all three want to be here and help the club stay in the division.

"With Lewis, he gives us composure and discipline in the middle.

"Chris you know will always cause teams problems; he is intelligent and will contribute a lot to the side in the final third."
