Chez Isaac says Braintree Town’s players need to travel to Woking tomorrow as if they hadn’t played on Tuesday.

Having won back-to-back Vanarama Conference Premier games against Wrexham and Telford to end a ten-game winless run, the Iron were set back by a disappointing performance and 1-0 defeat by Welling in midweek.

But they will now be looking to bounce back when they head to third-placed Woking tomorrow ahead of a two-week break from action and midfielder Isaac feels they need to disregard their midweek off-day.

He said: “We had the bad patch and thought we were past it with the two wins, but now we’re all very disappointed with the result against Welling.

“We just have to put it behind us as we have a big game at Woking and we have to play as if that game (against Welling) never happened.

“We were off it in that one."

Manager Alan Devonshire said he didn’t have any fresh injury concerns after the defeat by Welling, with Jordan Cox as the only member of the squad still out.
