Garry Kimble will be ordering his Witham Town players to go for broke tomorrow.

Evo-Stick Southern League premier division side Truro City will be making the long trip to visit the Village Glass Stadium in an FA Trophy second qualifying round tie (kick-off 3pm) and Kimble knows that an inconclusive result can’t be the outcome.

A draw would mean a replay and a 680-mile round midweek trip to Cornwall, which the Town boss feels may well be beyond his squad.

Kimble admits that Witham may even have to consider forfeiting the tie if it went to a second game, so will be telling them to go all-out for a win in the opening 90 minutes.

He said: “It is an important game for us and we want to win, but the only stumbling block will be if it goes to a replay.

“I’m not sure we’d be able to get a side out, so I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that and we can get a win on Saturday.

“We’ll certainly be going all-out for the win at the first time of asking.

“We can’t hold anything back and we’ll see what happens. If it’s 0-0 with a few minutes remaining then we will have to go for it because the last thing we want is to travel down there on a Tuesday."
