Torrential rain and a waterlogged pitch frustrated Witham Town's attempts to finish their Ryman League premier division game at Metropolitan Police.
Witham were trailing 2-1 midway through the second half when a halt was called to the fixture as the playing surface was too wet.
James Stevens had put Witham ahead in the sixth minute, before the hosts levelled and then took the lead with goals either side of the break but the heavy rain and soggy pitch meant the action was stopped with about 15 minutes to go.
