Alex Lynn will start this afternoon's GP3 Series feature race at Spa-Francorchamps in fifth place on the grid after morning qualifying in Belgium.
The racing driver from Dunmow's fastest lap was 0.611 seconds behind the pole lap of Trident's Luca Ghiotto and will see him start the race from the third row of the grid.
Lynn, who races in the GP3 Series for the Carlin team and is a member of the Red Bull Junior Programme, is currently leading the championship, with a 31-point advantage at the top of the standings and only three rounds to go after the one in Belgium.
