BRAINTREE TOWN completed their pre-season campaign with a 5-0 victory at Peterborough Northern Star.

Sean Marks and Dan Walker both netted twice, in addition to a strike from Dan Sparkes.

Meanwhile, the Iron, who begin their Conference Premier campaign on Saturday, have signed French defender Remy Clerima, from Brackley Town.

Elsewhere, WITHAM TOWN drew 2-2 at home to Dagenham & Redbridge.

They were two-up at the break, thanks to goals from Leon Antoine and Danny Emmanuel.

MALDON & TIPTREE also drew 2-2, at Canvey Island.

Terry Spillane’s side fought back from behind twice thanks to goals in either half from Brad Hunter and Adalberto Pinto.

Meanwhile, Spillane confirmed that he has parted company with former FC Clacton and Stanway Rovers defender Matt Cripps.

“Matt wants regular first-team football and I just can’t guarantee him that,” said the Jammers boss.

HALSTEAD TOWN notched a 1-0 win at BRANTHAM ATHLETIC while BURNHAM RAMBLERS lost 4-2 at home to Enfield.

Stephen Ikumeco and Paul Shave scored their goals at Leslie Field.
