Young archery ace Imogen Newby has hit the target and got a coveted Junior Master Bowman award.

The ten-year-old from Halstead, who is a pupil at Chappel Primary School, made sure of the third and final score she needed to achieve the award while competing at the Junior National Outdoor Championships in Lilleshall in the under-12 age category.

And the fact that she managed to get it just two weeks after her tenth birthday shows what an accomplishment it is for the Braintree youngster.
