Witham Town will have Kye Ruel back in their line-up for their Ryman League premier division campaign next season.
Ruel has returned to Witham having left the club after only playing a handful of games for them last season.
He left to join Ryman League division one north rivals Maldon and Tiptree, but has now come back and Town manager Garry Kimble said he was pleased to have the experienced midfielder back on board.
He said: "Kye rang and said he made a big mistake that he regrets and now wants to push on.
"He has been working hard in his own time so he will hit the ground running in pre-season.
"He is a talented player that has plenty of Ryman Prem experience.
"I don't hold grudges and we go again."
