Braintree karting ace Tom Joyner drove himself to the forefront of the race for the CIK-FIA European KF Championship title with a dominant display in the second round of the 2014 season in Spain.
The 21-year-old from Black Notley demonstrated why he became World KF champion last year in the pinnacle of kart racing as he drove to victory at Zuera.
Joyner said: “I got away in the final, caught the leader and as karts behind me had a battle for second place, I was able to open up a gap and take the win.
“It’s good because it puts me in a strong position in the overall championship."
