The Retreat sealed the Braintree Open Darts League’s singles title as they saw off Witham Swan’s challenge in a top-of-the-table clash.
Leaders Retreat won the first three games against their second-placed rivals to give them a solid lead heading into the fourth game.
Steve Prow and the Swan’s Andrew Smith were up to the oche in the fourth and, with a 102 out shot, it was Prow who secured the match points and league title for the Retreat, who went on to win the match 6-1.
