ELATED Witham Town boss Garry Kimble said his play-off heroes have put the club back on the map.
Town celebrated their second promotion in three years after a surprisingly one-sided 3-0 success against Harlow, in today’s Ryman One North play-off final at the Village Glass Stadium.
Seb Murfet, Lee Townrow and Shami Pedula scored their goals and afterwards a delighted Kimble said: “I’m ecstatic.
“We went into the game as underdogs but I woke up with a great feeling.
“I was calm and there were no nerves.
“To then put a show on like we did was absolutely fantastic.
“I’m proud to be manager.
“Two promotions in three years is fantastic and it’s not about me – it’s all about the players.
“They deserve all the credit they get because they thoroughly deserved it."
