Witham Town may be facing one of the biggest games in their history tomorrow, but assistant manager Brad King feels all the pressure will be on their opponents as the race for the Ryman League premier division hots up.
Regardless of the result of Witham’s game at Needham Market last night, they and VCD Athletic will occupy the top two places in division one north ahead of the clash in Kent tomorrow.
It is being billed as a title-decider as the two battle for the single automatic promotion spot, but King feels all the pressure will be on the hosts.
He said: “VCD have to win.
“The pressure is on them because they’ll be at home and I think they know that as well. “They have to beat us."
