Witham Hockey Club’s James Suett admits his team-mates have made his job easy as he finished his season with 54 goals from just 20 East League division three south east games.
The Witham striker played his final game of the campaign as Witham beat Clacton 8-2 and signed off in typically lethal style as he scored five of the team’s eight goals and secured the man-of-the-match award.
The win rubber-stamped Witham’s position as division three south east champions and Suett is already looking to more success at the higher level next year.
He said: “It has been a great season for me on a personal level and I hope that I can repeat my record in division two next year."
