While Braintree Town’s recent form has lifted them to within eight points of the Skrill Premier play-off places, full-back Sam Habergham insists the players won’t allow their thoughts to get beyond the next game.
A 3-0 win against Wrexham lifted the Iron to 13th but even though they still have up to seven games in hand on some of their rivals, they know they face a punishing run of fixtures and Habergham knows it’s best to keep feet firmly on the floor.
Ahead of tonight's trip to Forest Green Rovers, he said: “It’s a lot of games, but we want to play football and we have to get the games in.
“We know it’s going to be tough as we haven’t got the biggest squad in the world, but it’s something we have to deal with."
