Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire doubts whether Kenny Davis will be fit for tomorrow’s Skrill Premier game against Hyde at the Amlin Stadium, but there is more positive news on a couple of other injury-hit players.
Iron captain Davis was substituted at half-time in Tuesday’s 1-0 win against Cambridge United after getting a dead leg in the first 45 minutes and Devonshire feels the next game may come too soon for him to recover.
He said: “He may not make Saturday but hopefully after that he’ll be OK.”
However, Jordan Cox and Chez Isaac are closing in on returns after injuries.
