Witham Town are looking to extend their unbeaten home run in Ryman League division one north as they face Dereham Town at the Village Glass Stadium tonight.
Garry Kimble’s team have more than half of their home fixtures still to be played, however, no-one has come to the Village Glass Stadium and won this year in the league.
Kimble said: “We want to make this a hard place for teams to come and play and have to break us down.
“I think that’s what we did against Romford on Saturday.
“Teams won’t fancy coming to our place and if we can show the right grit and determination, we won’t be too far away.”
Central defender Luke Olley will be available despite getting sent off early in Witham’s 0-0 draw with Romford on Saturday, but skipper Paul King will have his fitness tested due to a shoulder problem.
