Braintree Town chairman Lee Harding said the club is staying afloat at the moment thanks to the financial support of its directors.
The Iron have had just one home Skrill Premier fixture since December 14 and are feeling the effects of having hardly any matchday income coming through their tills in more than eight weeks.
Even though they know cash will start flowing eventually when games do begin to be played, bills are still having to be paid now.
Harding said: “The club is being supported at the moment by the directors because there is minimal income."
