Braintree's Rhys Hayden is the new Essex Darts Open champion.
Two years after winning the corresponding youth title as a 17-year-old, Hayden has completed the step up by claiming the senior crown and is setting his sights on a big future in the sport.
The former Alec Hunter School pupil said: “It was fantastic to win it as it’s probably my biggest win in darts so far.
