Braintree Town's growing list of Skrill Premier backlogged fixtures has continued thanks to FC Halifax Town calling off tonight's game at The Shay.
The Yorkshire team's pitch hosted a rugby league match last weekend and had not recovered sufficiently for the football match to go ahead on Tuesday.
It has only served to increase the frustration for Braintree, who are seeing games continuing to back up.
The club now have 21 league games as well as an Essex Senior Cup final to fit in before the end of April.
Braintree's next game is scheduled to be a trip to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
