Braintree Town have had another Skrill Premier home fixture postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Amlin Stadium.
Tonight's scheduled fixture against Macclesfield Town was called-off after a pitch inspection was carried out this morning.
A statement on the club website said: "With Macclesfield planning to travel down this morning, a pitch inspection took place at the Amlin Stadium at 10am today by a local referee.
"While the local referee thought there was a possibility that, with additional work, the pitch could be playable, when he conveyed this to the match referee, the match referee was of the opinion that the pitch was not fit for play and the game is therefore postponed."
The game is the latest in a number of postponements for the Iron, who have only had one home game - an Essex Senior Cup tie against Harlow Town - go ahead in 2014.
Tonight's fixture follows Skrill Premier postponements of scheduled games against Gateshead, Lincoln City and two against Cambridge United since January 1.
The Iron's next game will now be a trip to Southport on Saturday.
