A waterlogged Amlin Stadium pitch has left Braintree Town without a game this afternoon.
The Iron had been due to host Lincoln City in a Skrill Premier match but the wet playing surface failed to pass a pitch inspection this morning.
Work had been done on the pitch after yesterday's rain but overnight showers and the sheer bulk of water that has fallen beat the efforts of groundstaff.
Braintree's next game will now be their home fixture against Gateshead on January 25.
