Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire has bolstered his squad ahead of tomorrow’s Skrill Premier trip to Alfreton Town with the signing of defender Exodus Geohaghon.
The 6ft 5in tall 28-year-old, who was part of Mansfield’s Conference-winning squad last season and has two England C caps to his name, has come in because of a head injury for Alan Massey.
Massey suffered concussion after receiving a kick on his temple during Braintree’s FA Cup first round tie against Newport County last weekend and may be out for a few weeks.
Geohaghon has made a number of appearances for Worcester City this season but was a free agent before joining Braintree and will be available for selection for the trip to Derbyshire.
