Rob Whitnell's 14th Ryman League division one north goal of the season fired Witham Town to a 1-0 victory against Wroxham.
The win extended Witham's good recent run of form and means they have now won four and drawn one of their last six league games.
The three points kept Garry Kimble's team sixth in the table and they now travel to face high-flying Thamesmead Town on Saturday.
