Braintree Town boss Alan Devonshire says his team need to cut out silly errors after seeing them punished at set-pieces by Forest Green Rovers.

A 4-1 loss made it back-to-back Blue Square Bet Premier defeats for the Iron and Devonshire felt there were goals that didn’t need to be conceded.

He said: “They pass the ball quickly and were sharp, but as well as Forest Green played, I thought their goals were soft ones.

“The first was from a corner, while the second and third were from free-kicks and they were all errors on our part.

“You can’t do that at this level.

“We need everyone to be on it every game, but a few were a bit short.

“We didn’t start off great.

“We knew they would be after us, but we were on the back foot from early on and conceded twice.

“We got one back with a great effort by Luke (Daley) and had a few chances to equalise, but the third goal was a sloppy one to concede.”
