Braintree Town have announced that tonight's Reserves game has had to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Team Braintree had been due to face Newmarket Town at the Amlin Stadium, but a pitch inspection on Wednesday morning confirmed the playing surface wasn't fit for action.

The club has said all efforts will now be focused on getting the pitch prepared for the first team's Blue Square Bet Premier game against Hereford United on Saturday.
